Continued from previous blog post re Coronavirus

Thinking of you all.

Trusting this will give encouragement.

I believe that Jesus heals, based on what the Bible says. And I have seen some miracles through the years.

I know from the scriptures and from experience that healing or deliverance occurs for some, though not for others.

We don't have all the answers.

The Lord sent his angel to deliver Peter from prison. His fellow apostle James had already been arrested and killed. God loved them both.

One of our sons living in Belgium was told he had the Coronavirus and had to self-isolate. When his breathlessness increased he was rushed into intensive care. Suddenly he became aware of people praying for him and his breathlessness stabilized and he was immediately sent home. Via video calls we can see him gaining in strength, step by step. We are trusting God for all our sons and their families in Belgium.

Daniel's friends in captivity were threatened by Nebuchadnezzar. Their answer was: "our God whom we serve is able to deliver us ... But if not ..." they would remain faithful to God who can always be relied upon, whatever the circumstances.

If you have not put your trust in Jesus Christ as yet, please take the time to read about him in one of the gospel records that can be found in the New Testament contained in the Bible. For example, John's account. If you don't have a printed version, you'll be able to find this online, in your own language. Don't be put off if you find some things difficult to understand. Persevere and ask God to help you.

" ... these are recorded so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name (John 20:31 NET)."

Eternal life!
